Hi all!

My name is Oliver Gaskell, aka Tau Keyboards. I recently got into the community, mainly thanks to Reddit and TaehaTypes.

I'm currently developing a 40% Ortholinear keyboard - the τ.4 . Starting at £30, it should be available sometime in January 2021. Once I've finished that, I plan on developing some more orthoboards - I've got plans for a TKL and Full Sized ortho layout :)

Any particular reason the OLED position is where it is or just aesthetic preference? What's the plan for the OLED display content?.

I posted a poll on r/MK, asking whether people preferred it there, or to the right of the board. Most people said it was better there.

Since a large reason many people use 40% is to save on desk space, having the OLED to the right negates some of that saving. Having it to the top is much less of a concern.
