Ever notice that the face buttons on a ps2 controller were double shot?

Cool, I've never taken any of mine apart, so I didn't notice. Definitely a logical choice.

Same on the PS3 Sixaxis Dualshock. I just stuck it under a microscope.

Check this Xbox controller mod. (http://benheck.com/09-01-2009/swapped-xbox-360-controller) Swapped R to L AND added extra buttons.

That 360 pad mod seems just a little on the superfluous side.
He adds extra buttons on the back of the left-hand grip to function as ABXY face buttons, but then goes the extra mile and puts the ABXY on the left side of the pad as well. I would have left that noise as-is.

Sorry for somewhat OT, but are the newer Thinkpad Trackpoint buttons double shot? Can anyone with a Thinkpad check?
