I'm not sure if it's mechanical. But looks cool.

They are mechanical, but the build quality supposedly sucks and the switches are mediocre.

Don't spend more than $40 on them, I have seen more than 10 of them in the past 6 months

Those are pretty cool, my friend has one and it's not really all that great though, the keys are kind of rough to press.

They aren't the usual Alps CM switches, some lesser one.

unless it's lightly used or newish then yeah I think that would be a safe assumption but still a cool keyboard if you don't want a big one for your mac
