Title: Budget TKL or 65 boards?
Post by: Azekk on Mon, 14 December 2020, 16:36:36
I'm relatively new to the hobby, having been a lurker around geekhack and such for a couple of months now, and I'm starting to gather a list of parts that I want for my very own board, with my one issue being money. I was wondering if people had any suggestions for a budget TKL or 65% case that has a color that would match well with GMK Cojiro (the keycap set I'm planning on getting for this build). I am splurging a bit on the keycaps but that's primarily because I instantly fell in love with the color palette the instant I saw the interest check. Let me know your thoughts and opinions! I'd love to hear what everybody has to say!

Boards you can actually buy and get within the next few months:
Tofu
DZ60 (beware of fakes, they work but firmware update will be problematic)
GMMK
Idobao
Vortex, Ducky, Leopold, Varmillo (check mechanicalkeyboards.com)

Almost anything else is sold out or going to take weeks or months to get due to ship times.

KBD67 Lite had a GB around Black Friday, it's too bad you missed that.

But the IKKI68 Aurora is coming up soon...
