Hello there!
I want to build my first mechanical keyboard and I really need help. I'm from Germany so I need the ISO layout. I already ordered GMK 80082 keycaps which also have the German letters in the International pack thankfully but I'm having trouble finding a TKL ISO case and PCB (hotswapable would be better). Is a plate always needed? I think I would got for an aluminum plate.
Do you have any suggestions? My price range will be around 150€ I think and the color should just be black. If really needed I might pay a little more. The switches I plan to use are the Gateron Black Ink if they come into stock at some point.

You definitely need a plate with hotswap. Most DIY options are smaller than TKL and stock generally is low, not to mention ISO being far less popular (solder PCBs can support it alongside ANSI, hotswap prevents this)
If you just want nice switches and caps and don't need fully programmable the GMMK barebone (https://www.amazon.de/Glorious-PC-Gaming-Race-Tastatur/dp/B07L31V1K4[/url) could work?

Thanks. So do u think it's better to got for solder PCB cause I would have more options? Would still have the problem to find a nice case.
I saw the GMMK Barebone, what kinda turns me off of it is micro-USB and I would prefer a high profile case. The one I found on YouTube which looks and sound amazing for me is this one: But this one might be much more expensive and probably hard to get in Europe.

Is there any other suggestions. I'm looking for the same thing!
High profile, preferably aluminum case, TKL.

I don't know how deep you've been dragged into this hobby already and how badly you want such a TKL case, but if you can wait a while, this one will fit your needs perfectly:

They are from Germany and design keyboards especially for their needs (hence ISO).
But I assume a price tag of about 400-500Euro...
ich warte auch schon auf deren GB
