Title: SMK/Laser 2269
Post by: BiggusNickis on Tue, 19 January 2021, 10:26:58
Hello, new member here. I tried searching for answers but it seems I’m a couple years late to the SMK fad... I found my childhood Laser keyboard and want to revive it but it has horrible ghosting issues, all over the board. I was hoping to find a PCB to transplant to but every lead I’ve found won’t respond... is there any way to get a pcb to put these switches into?? Or perhaps someone could advise how to fix the ghosting issue with the original board, then I could build a new frame for it?

TIA,
Biggis

If you are into 60%, drop me a PM. I still got a few of these: https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=103531.0  ;D

Not many SMK-projects around I'm afraid, they are nice switches. You could DIY your own PCB to fit your case, but that's quite a bit of work.

Thanks for the replies! I guess my next question is are there any options for making a numpad with the same switches, to accompany my 60%?
