It's possible aleck's monitor requires calibration.
Tp4 recommends i1display studio colorimeter.

Looks teal to me on my monitors at work.

It's criminal to be stuck with a bad monitors !!

The panels I use at work are bad but calibrated as well as they could be.
-
in a lot of color grouping teal is part of the blue group though, so for some teal is just blue, although it is only a guess, trying to make sense of that mystery (tp is the next dress :-))
and at work i have 2 screen that a both real far in calibration, and from one an other, but looks teal on both :) (and no i am not even going to try calibrating a 10 and 13 years old displays)

only tool I had at my disposal was a Spyder Pro 5, want to pick up an i1 now that I know what I know.

Tangentially off-topic:
Default Geekhack orange-on-black is hideous and almost makes my eyes bleed.
Whenever it defaults itself I immediately change back to the easy-on-the-eyes "Austere" setting and assumed that a lot other people do that too. That has been my choice since very near the beginning.
-
Nope leave it as Orange and Black, the black background is easier on my eyes vs the white.

It depends on what you do. spyder 5 works more/less ok on ips/tn panels if you use the bundled software.
It doesn't work with displaycal frontend though as it creates dead zones.
