Hey everyone, I'm expanding my interest from /r/mechanicalkeyboards to here. I been using a CM Storm QuickFire Rapid With Cherry MX Blues for the past ~4 years, and looking a new experience soon. Believe it or not, I have yet to try out new keycaps or a different switch setup, but in due time (reeeally soon) I think I might finally bite the bullet.

If you are looking to change it up from clicky switches you should try out some linear switches. They are the absolute best typing experience I have ever had, and as a plus you wont bother your housemates :)). Some people are worried about typing without the tactile feedback but I have found that you get used to it quickly.

Hey thanks for the recommendation! I love the clicky feedback I have right now, but you're right, it won't fly when I have people around me lol. maybe my first build might be with linear switches since they are silent and they as you say they still feel good. I'm gonna get a switch tester to see how different switches feel
