Ok so, I have been using a HyperX Alloy (full sized) keyboard for both work and gaming. It has Cherry MX Red, which I absolutely adore for typing. But unfortunately, I have been getting double clicks from certain keys, which is pretty annoying while I am working.
So, I did some research and found that these double clicking problem comes from dusts getting trapped inside the switches and creates multiple taps for one key stroke. I tried cleaning them with Isopropyl alcohol and it worked, but only temporarily. After few months, another key shows up with the same problem. I guess, there isn't any permanent solution to it.
Can anyone suggest me a keyboard that has the tactile feel of mechanical switches, but has the reliability of membrane. I know there are mecha-membrane hybrid switches out there, but they cost a fortune and I am looking for something in the same range of hyperx alloy.
Thanks :thumb:

You're not gonna find anything that uses a rubber dome that even feels close to a MX red. MX red is a linear switch & all rubber dome (including Topre) are tactile switches due to the collapsing nature of them. I'd look into boards with optical switches for a similar feel with a different activation mechanism.
