Hey everyone, I'm working on a Boston 120% keyboard build and the switches I'm using for it are box pinks. Chyrosran22 had mentioned that he liked them more with lighter springs because they let him follow through more, and since I align very well with Chyro's opinion on clicky switches I'd hate to have even partially soldered a board to find I'd want to mod them with lighter springs.
So my question is are there any bargain basement hotswap setups that'll let me test the feel of these switches? I have no intention of using it as a regular keyboard at all.
Switch testers aren't good enough for me, I can't really judge unless I'm at least "typing".

i know my $40 redragon board has hotswap switches, but ive heard that theres questionable compatibility with anything other than outemu switches

Ah yeah, I forgot about the red dragon boards. I'd have to look into it.

If it uses Outemu hot swaps it could have issues with other switches.
Spend a bit more and get a barebones GMMK, it uses Kailh hot swaps that work with pretty much any MX switch and it's a pretty decent board as well that you can resell or give away to someone without feeling bad.

I managed to get a bluetooth GK64 for 50 bucks new on ebay. Works out for me cause I needed a new wireless keyboard for my home theatre pc.
