Title: Music editing keycaps?
Post by: ddrfraser1 on Sun, 07 February 2021, 13:15:25
I have two brothers-in-law who work in sound production for a living. I recently saw some ePBT keycaps with Photoshop specific characters on them and I was wondering are there any like this for the music industry? I don’t know anything about the music industry or software in the music industry but I will probably be building a keyboard for one of them pretty soon and asset like that could be a nice touch.

Edit: He uses Pro tools mostly but also Logic, Ableton Live, and Readon

Thanks but I’m more looking to build a mechanical version of the Logic Pro Tools keyboard.

If you don't mind doing some designing yourself, WASD can do custom printed keycaps: https://www.wasdkeyboards.com/104-key-custom-cherry-mx-keycap-set.html (either with a keyboard or separately).

There's also Max Keyboard https://www.maxkeyboard.com/shop/cherry-mx-keycaps/ (https://www.maxkeyboard.com/shop/cherry-mx-keycaps/), but as with WASD you'll need to do the design by yourself. If you don't know/want to design it yourself you can search for some graphical designer near you area, in fiverr or here, or so I think, I haven't actually ordered anything like this. Anyways, good luck.
