Title: Are these SKCM or SKBM White Alps?

Hello everyone. I got this Focus FK-2001 keyboard which has winkeys and coloured legends for Shift, Ctrl and Alt.

I was wondering if this keyboard uses complicated White Alps or simplified White Alps. I think it has the complicated slits but I‘m not entirely sure.

To me, it looks like it has slits. If so, it is actually pine.

How good are Pine switches? Will they feel similar to Alps SKCM Blue?

I don't know since I haven't used any blue alps keyboards so far. However, very early pine alps (without top branding) feel very close to blue alps.

But generally, if you like white alps, you'll like blues. If you don't, you won't like blue either. Anyway, worth picking up IMHO. Gotta love white alps.

Yeah man. I wanted to buy this to be able to experience the feeling of Blue Alps to some extent. Plus it seems to be in great condition and I think i got it for a decent price

The earlier they are, the closer they are to SKCM blue. Blue and white were altered slightly over the years. White replaced blue somewhere in this process. If the switches are relatively clean, you should have a great keyboard to play with. Have you got the dust cover for that FK-2001? If so, it has probably protected the switches over the years.
