Hi guys!
I got the NK65 Entry Edition from the recent drop. Been using it for a few weeks now but suddenly it stopped working. It can't be recognized by my PC, Mac and even the VIA software. It only powers up and I can change the RGB lighting through its function keys. Has anyone encountered this issue? Thank you!

Could it have been bricked?

if the onboard functions still work (rgb controls etc.) to me it screams bad cable or dead usb port on the pc, and only having ruled out those 2 i would suspect the board.

I think I pretty much isolated the case since the cables and the ports work fine with my other board. Is there any way to resolve the issue? :(

i do not know enough about the nk65 to be of much help, from your symptoms it seems that the UC is working as intended and the board get power, just that one or both of the usb data lines are disconnected/defective, although saying that i make the assumption that it uses USB2 over USB-C and not USB3.1 or 3.2 then it would have many more data lines than D+ and D- :) so depending either try to RMA the board or open it and check if the usb is on a daughter board, and it that board is plugged in correctly. i would expect NK to be able to help you better than us on such a recent board though.

Thank you for the reply! I already messaged Novelkeys about the issue will just wait for their response.

NK_ should be fairly quick to help resolve this. At least from my experience in dealings with them.

Hi, did you manage to solve it? I'm having the same issue on my M1 Mac.
