They're just the latest retool is all with the hyperglides. Considering the retool happened last year & they have been super slow getting them out vendors who sell them loose. I'd imagine it's probably already a crapshoot as to how smooth they'll be if you order some.

The early Hyperglide Browns were good, according to multiple accounts.

I tried a sample of 10, and they are indeed smooth. They are still Browns, though, just fresh molds.

Not very scratchy and pretty smooth, but they are still chittery-sounding with ABS keycaps.

I think there was a review or post on Geekhack not too long ago about someone finding that quite a few recent Ducky keyboards came with the Hyperglide switches.  They have a sticker on the box indicating it.

Yes. One person had bought a Ducky Shine 7 with Hyperglide Brown, IIRC. Said it was very good.

The early Hyperglide Duckies are probably still in stock at mechanicalkeyboards.com, maybe it's worth asking them. The poster had purchased it from MK.com.

I bought 110 from Candykeys the moment i heard about Hyperglide GB's. They are meh feels like your average retooled black, but with lube on the legs to make them feel smoother then the older MX switches.

So these are just factory lubed blacks.

Used hyperglide blacks to build a custom atreus62. Some keys are not the smoothest but in general I like them. But I don't have experience with more exotic linears, so...

Currently I own a sample of Hyperglide Blacks (5 pin) but I'm waiting for my other 140pcs to arrive this month. The smoothness is about the same level of Gaterons, the housing wobbles a bit from the sides and the stock spring, as expected, makes ping noise. I'm planning to lube and film these switches anyways.
