Title: "Middle Man" services for Yahoo Japan Auctions
Post by: ch_123 on Sun, 15 August 2010, 10:13:51
I remember people (possibly Webwit and/or Rdjack) discussed the different brokers that can be used to buy stuff from Yahoo Japan... Does anyone remember the thread, or have the appropriate details?

Well, I'm specifically looking for one that does proxy bidding on auction sites like Yahoo Japan, as opposed to finding things in retail stores and shipping out. I think I have found some though.

I've used Shopping Mall Japan (http://www.shoppingmalljapan.com/) recently and frequently to get some video game stuff from Yahoo! Japan Auctions.  Make sure to read about how their shipping system works before you sign up and start bidding.

I used Okshon (http://www.okshon.com ) happily a couple of times on motorcycle bits. That was a year or two ago though, so can't say what they're like now.

I found them pretty good, lots of feedback about what was going on and the markup wasn't too horrific.
