Title: Hello from the PNW
Post by: SVThuh on Sat, 13 March 2021, 12:39:55
Just got here.  Ive been using mechanicals for a while though, just not customs.  Growing up I had IBM Model-M's that I used with my 386/486/Pentium/Pentium2/etc. Then rubber dome garbage stuff, and now back on a mechanical thanks to Keychron, for now.  I want to build my own boards, but funds are tight.  Ill get there though!

Hi SVThuh. Welcome to Geekhack.

I wish I were able to grow up on Model Ms. I think even our hand-me-down Macintosh Performa had domes. Now I use the old stuff and have still never assembled a kit board.  ;D

Those Keychron boards seem like a great value. What switches have you tried? Which do you like?
