Title: does anyone has some information on the IBM model 1399600
Post by: TheJoke26 on Fri, 19 March 2021, 09:59:39
Hi, I just found an IBM model M on ebay, but i can seem to find any information about that keyboard, the photos of the keyboard show the serial number 1399600.

Tell me if you have some information about it, from the picture, the keyboard is azerty, was manufactured in UK, and doesn't have caps lock and other lights on the right.

is it buckling spring and how old is it ?

Thank you very much!

The 1399601 is buckling spring and mid nineties. So this should be the same.

Not too old for an IBM buckling spring board. Blue label 1993 or newer. Spanish 103 key layout. Terminal keyboard used for older terminal systems. Not SDL but actually has a 5 pin din type connector. (NOT AT!)
Hope this helps out.
Reminds me of Wyatt's terminal board, but his was much older.
