Title: Quick question on Pandas switch
Post by: reineforce on Sun, 21 March 2021, 22:48:35
Hi everyone, I am new to the realm of custom build mechanical keyboard. As I am making my first 65%, with parts mostly coming from KBD. I just realized that they don't carry the Panda switch
Does anyone know where I can find a good supplier for such switch.

I see Amazon.ca carries them but they are sh!t expensive.

Thanks in advance

You might want to look into substitutes. There's "Glorious Pandas," which are GMMK's copy. But probably not easily available in Canada.

The U4T [Thock] Boba switch resembles a Holy Panda. And they tend to be priced cheaper. You can order from U.S. and cross your fingers that it is too insignificant for customs to bother with. MehKee has them, you can also order directly from Gazzew.

I thought I saw a retailer in Canada selling them, maybe a new retailer, but I could be mistaken.

You might also look at Drop.com for their Halo switches.

I don't know the details as to what's easily available vs not in Canada though.

I can still see Holy pandas on drop? If you don't want to buy those, I suggest Glorious Pandas, they are really good for the price point.

Here:

These are similar to Pandas and in Canada.
