Title: Letter 'Z' incapable of being mirrored?
Post by: noisyturtle on Sun, 28 March 2021, 18:30:19
I have tried in different browsers and word programs and it seems like computers, at least Windows PCs, and incapable of mirroring the letter Z. It's so weird, does anyone know why?

Ah HA! It is because the letter Z has no reasonable facsimile in another language, and Unicode letters are pulled from global alphabets choosing characters that look similar to an existing English alphabet character and there is no character resembling a flipped Z in any other language.

Never noticed before today, but the explanation makes perfect sense.
