GMK Shiryō

Lets continue to explore the world around us through chemistry, biology, physics, history, and lore.
Wait, stop, another elemental set? maybe I need a change. Just to try something different, not get design-cast??? (Don't worry I still love elements and wont stop doing them!!)

Not sure how the gray legends on deep red keys will end up being, they are a bit hard to see in renders, and don't mesh well imo. Nice IC though.

Thanks for the comments Chippy and I totally expected this to be a concern, as I mentioned briefly above in the kits section this was an intended choice, to give the effect I wanted, I have added a question to the IC feedback form for specific required feedback around this. I just want to add that during creation of this, I did try lighter legends on this accent keys and it just seemed to pull me out of the look I wanted. They lost that look of overhead leaves or even blood splatter. The dark legends blending in keep the keys dark and maintain that effect, this may not be for all but I want to get a sense of how concerning that is for people

Yep I tried, lol and the feedback is clear and I am warming to the lighter legends with some quick renders I did, so working at getting new renders with the mod coloured alphas

I thank everyone who provided feedback that this doesnt lose the intent as much as I worried, but will give a much better pop to those keys. Really appreciate the feedback!!

To each their own for sure, I think the red gives just the right amount of pop to go with the more subdued colours, also gives  a feeling of maybe you had just been in battle, covered in mud blood soaked ground and the red leaves falling around you

Your base kit has 4 ansi enter keys. It's kinda excessive. Unpopular opinion: bring the novelty to the left shift key cuz it has the same size, so there will be 2 shift keys (normal + novelty) and only 2 normal ansi enter keys left (mod + accent). Also, can we have some japanese on iso enter too? just need replace the accent one.

Some updates to share,

Luxe Cables is on board for the cable collab, so cannot wait to see what he comes up with!!

Also Ato Works has shared some renders of his collab caps for Shiryo that look amazing!!! And then out of nowhere came up with an amazing deskmat, that fits the theme perfectly, expect some renders on that deskmat in the coming weeks!!

Similar to Red Alert in layout colouration but I do like the tone of both the alphas and the mods.  Interested even though I have dozens of similar sets.
