Title: Old Dude starting this new hobby

Hi.  I am new.  I bought my first mechanical keyboard (Keychron K4 V2) not too long ago to dip my toes into the hobby.  For those who wondered why I didn't do a TKL, I am engineer who uses the numpad.  Anyways, now I am preparing to build one for my son who is attending graduate school.  I am looking at a 65% to try and keep the price down.  After that I will make one for my daughter-in-law and so on.
