Hello. This is an IC for the Aria, a F13 TKL.

My goals with this board was to create a TKL with modern features, as well as incorporating some of my favorite designs.

Reserved for updates (I will guarantee one update every 5-10 days, even if the update is no update, I know it sucks waiting for updates, and wondering if a project has been forgetten  :D )

Update 4/21/21
IC posted, Minor edits, renders in progress

Update 4/22/21
Discord made, Color suite + voting created

Update 4/26/21
more renders posted in discord, updated quotes recieved for fnf run, waiting on prototype (early may).

Update 4/30/21
more renders, updated some accessories, waiting on proto, still on track.

Update 5/4/21
Waiting on proto, still on track. Custom PCB finalized. Will order PCB next week.

Update 5/7/21
Proto updated: All machining is finished, waiting for surface finish and anode. ETA 1-2 weeks.

Update 5/11/21
Parts (screws, gasket etc) for the proto is here. PCBs, plates, and daughterboards for the fnf run have also been ordered. Proto is still on track.


Update 5/21/21
PCBs plates, and daughterboards have arrived. PCBs were botched, but I am ordering new, fixed ones. Proto is at ano factory, slight delay.

Update 6/2/21
Proto is out for delivery

Update 6/6/21
Proto has been recieved, QC'd, and shipped out to Tenturo for a build. Stay tuned.

aha, those are indeed some of my favorite boards.

Thanks! I'd love to have more color options, but I'd like to keep it simple for this first GB. One or two additional colors might be possible.

Check the top of the IC, got a bunch of renders for colors, and a new voting option :)
Theres 2 greys, burgundy, lilac, and green :D

Cool design, you've obviously put some time and thought into it.

Front height might be just a touch too high for some, but I understand why you've done it, and the front lip might help a few of those out. In any case, it looks great.

things that i don't see people underaged being capable of doing when running a gb by themselves

it is by satisfactorydesigns / fropsie. he already has a prototype in hand as well.. but that said i feel like i haveseen this stepped side deisgn a hundred times this year...  haha

i think your weight design is really inefficient by the way. it uses a huge block of brass, andthen you removed seemingly 70% of the material. extremely wasteful and unnecessary costly..You could lower on ur cost if you split it into separate pieces, or at least make the chunky part of the weight extend into the bottom case to use more brass material

Was not aware of this :p, this was inspired by the LZ RE (which im sure satsifactorydesigns/fropsie was also inspired by). I've had ideas of this for a couple months now, so I'm sure it was just a coincidence

Regarding the suggestion about the weight, thanks, i'll take it into consideration.
