Title: Help with Godspeed75
Post by: Uncleanbus on Fri, 23 April 2021, 15:15:15
Hey i just soldered up my GS75 and im having some issues. the 6, 7, Y, U, H, I, B, N, SPACE are not responding when i hit the key. everything else seems to be working just fine so far. I do find it odd that its like a line right down the middle. So i was looking at QMK config trying to find the PCB to flash it and see if thats my issue but im not sure what its named ass under the config. Any suggestions?

Just had a look at the firmware (https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/tkc/godspeed75) and the board has 12 rows and 8 columns with all of those keys sharing a column.  It's unlikely it came flashed with nearly correct firmware so is there a short on the controller chip by any chance?  If in doubt a pic of this column and the chip might help (I'm guessing it's black making it hard to see anything, though I hope not)
