Title: Focus 5001 Project

I've been looking into getting a Focus 5001 for a while, the full calculator with the display is so nice. But they dont come around very often and when they do they are a bit pricey.
I have never tried to repair a keyboard before, but I am handy enough. I think I could finger it out....
This one just came up on Ebay and i'm very tempted...
Thoughts?

Wow......they have really went up since I got mine years ago.
The battery is probably just dead and the battery compartment will need to he cleaned, contacts.
I love mine......not the best case as it has some twist to it, but it has the old white alps which are fairly noisy and clicky. Quite the rare board today........
