Title: Model M keycaps - 2 piece vs. 1 piece?

Which has a better feel on the Model M?  2 piece keys or 1 piece? Or, no difference?

You can sort of feel the extra weight of the double part ones, but the difference in feel is rather subtle.

As has been pointed out, they were introduced purely to facilitate custom keycaps, there's no real advantage over a single-piece design.
