Title: Healio V2 gaming
Post by: GamerKitty64 on Sun, 23 May 2021, 04:07:02
Are healio v2s good for gaming? also, how do the compare to cherry mx reds if anyone has tried both? (not sound, just differences in gaming and feel)

Healios are just fine for gaming. They are pretty smooth, much smoother than cherry. Their bottom-out force is 7g more than cherry, so your fingers can get a little tired with time. If I were you, I'd buy sakurios, since their pressure force, as it seems to me, is optimal for gaming

thanks! Guess i'll buy some sakurios once i get enough money (i just bought a planck ez, i made this post because i was looking for a switch that is good for gaming and typing/programming and won't annoy people at my school)

Not one switch is objectively better for gaming. It's all preference. If YOU like smooth linears for gaming, than Helios are good for gaming.

I'm not a huge fan of Helios but I'm also not a linear guy(except I like creams for some reason). And that's ok, all switches are great as long as you like them!
