I made this thing fully aware I'd eventually need to get a new Swiftcables cable (due to the Arctic KAT set I'm waiting on) but I have decided to make the jump and use what I had anyway, and I'm now the proud owner of a fully functional NK65 Aluminum Silver.

I have been blown away at the difference, and not in the ways I expected
1. It's quieter. Despite using the same type of keycaps I had on my old keyboard, it's half as loud.
2. I'm typing faster and have nearly gotten used to the FN+Num instead of function row.
3. I think I'm just typing better. I make a lot less errors.
I really like how solid and heavy this slab of aluminum is, and I'm also really impressed at the lack of pinging. I may have to install a dampener sometime to lower the volume but for right now I'm kind of completely satisfied. Now I just need my Arctics to arrive so I can get this thing in its full grey/blue/silver glory.
