Title: Best recording and editing software for music and voice?
Post by: noisyturtle on Fri, 28 May 2021, 13:59:29
I've been using Audacity to record voice clips and was just curious if anyone has another suggestion for any audio editing software?
Preferably one that's easy to edit clips together. What do you use?

Anything much better than Audacity is going to be paid or OS specific which is probably why it's so popular.
GarageBand is a good alternative but it only works on Mac.

Abelton, Adobe Audition, Acid Pro and Logic Pro are popular but they cost a fair bit. Cakewalk used to be a good lower priced option on Windows but they were bought out and shut down.
