Title: Alpaca V2 has inconsistent stem hole size?
Post by: jooobe on Wed, 09 June 2021, 08:20:28
I'm wondering if anyone has run into this, I'm stem swapping to UHMWPE stems. The same stem can fit into one bottom housing but somehow not some other ones. If I look closely some stem hole has thicker walls than other ones

I can see that happening, tolerance is probably meant for the Alpaca stem.
Just like when making Holy Bobas, some switches will have the stem stuck due to different sizes.

The culprit is more likely the UHMWPE stems than the Alpacas. UHMPE stems are notorious for having noticeable variance from one unit to another.
