FLAME 60% IC From CLAP Studio

Good day to my fellow geekhackers, today I present you the Flame. This is a gasket mount designed keyboard supporting WK and WKL layouts.

Keyboard specs:
6063 aluminum
6.5° degree typing angle
PCB: QMK/VIA Compatible, Daughter Board Type C design
Gasket mount (poron gaskets)
3.5MM dampener between plate and PCB
1.5-2MM bottom case dampener

Keyboard layout

Keyboard parts:
Top, bottom case (aluminum anodized+e finishes)
Middle frame Brass+sand blasted finish
Bottom plate (brass+sand blast)
Plates (Aluminum, Fr4 supported full and half)
Badge (aluminum anodized) E-white or yellow ish-white is yet to decide due to the machining complications.
PCB Solder NO RGB

Weight and dimensions:
Width: 297.75MM or (11.7 inch)
Depth: 108.25MM or (4.2 inch)
Front height: 20MM or (0.7 inch)
Weight (without any kind of plate): 1.6KG or (3.5LBS)

Case finishes:
Anodized: Black, blue, wine red
E-white
E-yellow white ish or aka soya
Maybe more colors later depending on the prototypes and anodization.
Render colors might slightly differ from the final anodization.

To do list:
1.   R1 prototypes have already been tested, minor issues with the fr4 plate, need to fix the flex cuts to improve the overall typing feel.
2.   Minor issues with the mid piece, brass is a little bit bendy, will try different machining methods in R2 prototypes. Aluminum does not have any issues at the moment.
3.   Anodizing is almost almost perfect no issues at the moment.
4.   PCB are in the production, waiting for the prototypes.
5.   Need to test PC plate as well as alu plate.
6.   Test the fitting of the packaging, waiting for prototypes

Not really a fan of the side seam, or the transitions on the bottom. A bit too sharp / squared edges for me. Good luck!

The royal blue is a really nice shade, plus the option for WKL is great to see as well. The bottom plate is super clean with the small black logo. Great job designing this, it's very clean and unique!

I like that you have a proto already. Board looks pretty nice, and I would love to see some actual pics of the proto. I would also like to see a better pic of the side profile

The edges are not as sharp as illustrated, they are rounded to prevent the sharpness feel, thank you for kind words!

We originally wanted to go for 8 however we felt that the bottom would look way too thick! But thanks for the suggestion!
