Title: Light Linear Switches?
Post by: CubeF4rm on Tue, 22 June 2021, 08:20:29
Having started on a board with Gateron Blacks, i've slowly worked my way down the actuation force graph before getting to Gateron Clears. I really like the 'hair trigger' effect of typing on something so light, but i was wondering if there were any more 'premium' options (like Inks) for ~35g springs?

The only equivalent i can find is Silk Reds, but there don't seem to be any reviews for them anywhere either.

Can anyone with experience advise me of any alternatives? (Beyond spring-swapping 35g springs into 'premium' switches)

Thanks.

Water kings have an option of 37g if you buy from the China store I think

You could try these.

However, I'll warn you I've tried them and they didn't feel too light to me even though they're like 37g operating force. Gateron clears are not what I would call premium, but they are definitely light at 35g. I eventually switched to custom springs from Sprit. My ideal actuation force is 30g, and you just can't find that on the market.
