Title: Any Endurapro fans out there?
Post by: snerd on Wed, 25 August 2010, 16:18:48
Taking my hands off the keyboard is hard. I want a trackpoint/nipple keyboard option, and I guess I'm up for some clicky clackin.

I use a Realforce 87u as my daily driver, and would rather have a tenkeyless Topre with a trackpoint... but that's never going to happen.

Dude, lift some weights or something.  Your hands shouldn't be that heavy.

An Endurapro would be nice, and it's on my want list.

Used to have one, a very good keyboard indeed. And it isn't much wider than the IBM "Space Saver"

The only major criticism is that the Trackpoint isn't great. You need to crank up the sensitivity to get the most of it.

I have the latest version of the PS/2 Unicomp Endurapro.  The Trackpoint in this version is fast enough for Windows 7, even though it is a PS/2 keyboard.  You should be able to find a USB version.

My review of it is here:

Ah, Nice review. I missed that one. I got to make use of an old well worn in IBM keyboard the other day and it left me wanting something similar. That, and the trackpoint. I admit I would like a good condition Model M Spacesaver, but I hate hunting things down and dealing with private sellers and possible disapointment.
