Title: HHKB Hybrid Pro Type-S Connection Problems

Hello,

Am having some problems connecting my HHKB Hybrid Type-S with my M1 Mac mini. It connects fine when I'm logged in. However if I were to restart the Mini or do a power cycle, the keyboard won't will fail to pair with the Mini. But whenever I manage to login with another keyboard into Big Sur, the Mini and HHKB will pair automatically.

Not really sure what is the issue here, have checked the firmware, deleted all devices and paired them again but it still doesn't work. Have tried searching around for a solution but with no avail. Funny thing is my older HHKB BT have no such issues.

Have attached my system information and I see that

- Connection Mode: HHKB BT = Sniff Mode | HHKB Hybrid = Active Mode
- Role: HHKB BT = Master | HHKB Hybrid = Central

Any peeps know what should I do about this? Am at my wits end....

I was going to suggest that the pairing was done in your user account so wasn't active until you logged in but it's strange that the older HHKB works.  Unless you had the old one before you upgraded the OS?  They could have changed how it's handled, though no idea why they would.  But why would they change anything on the HHKB...
