Title: PC Cases: fractal design meshify 2 compact vs be quiet 500dx
Post by: Public Nuisance on Mon, 12 July 2021, 14:02:50

Hello!

for my next build i am stuck between these two cases. i watched the gamersNexus reviews on both.  Both allow a 240 rad up top.

the gpu i will be using is a msi 3080 trio.

does anyone have personal experience with ether or both of these?

Buy whichever you prefer, we can't tell you anything more than Gamers Nexus can other than personal opinions as few have probably worked with both.

F a 240 rad. It won’t cool nearly as well as a (cheaper) Noctua D15 or Dark Rock Pro 4, and it’ll be louder too. Either of those air coolers will fit in your case.

I actually just returned a BeQuiet 500dx case for a manufacturing defect, and opted to replace it with a Phanteks P500A, which is VERY nice but not as small. I have no cooling problems. I definitely don’t need to worry about if it can fit a 240mm radiator.
