Has anybody had issues with searching lately? I have been trying to search for keywords in certain forums, or certain threads. It used to work fine many months ago, and I had reported this separately to Hoffman about it occurring. I thought it'd be fixed by now, but I still am unable to search for anything with the Search bar or the Search function in the top bar of geekhack.
Anybody else experiencing this issue? Or otherwise, have you been able to search without problems?

i've been using google site search for years, i think the search has been broken since at least 2015

If you're in a subforum it works, if you want to search all subforums you need to click "Advanced Search" which defaults to search everywhere and also brings back results. It has never been great but it does 'work' for me.

I usually use Google, and append site:geekhack.org to the search string.

I was going to ask.... has it ever worked?

Yeah, the search bar worked for me, and I have used it a lot when searching for specific key words / phrases within specific threads -- e.g. a Geekhack media thread or an interest check.
I do use Google with the appended "site:" string as well, though for more generic searches.
Thanks for the tip, also, suicidal_orange! Will give that a try sometime soon.
