So, whenever my computer "automatically" goes to sleep because it has been awake, the functionality is much more smooth - booting the PC will leave all windows as is, but startup functions does not seem to work.
What is the difference between "manual" put-to-sleep on pc, and automatic?
Thank you!

it very much depend on your settings, or manufacturer settings, some PC will not go to proper sleep automatically but only a lower power state, while manually telling it to go to sleep will make it do it properly, well i am saying that from my windows 7 experiences, i have not tinkered with windows 10 nearly as much, given that i only use it at work.

I never tell mine to go into a sleep state, only lock the desktop and tell the screen to shutoff. Too many issues within w10 on it's power tables and sleep states - most conflict with manufacturer's bios power C-States, sometimes it will get stuck in a low power state even when it should be requesting the cpu/hardware to ramp up.
