For those interested in building one of kb-elmo's excellent "aek2_usb" drop-in replacement PCBs for their AEK II, unless you want to order PCBs and source components yourself (in which case I recommend jlcpcb to make the PCBs and octopart to source the components), this may be your last shot.
As noted on https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=114675.msg3083549, I've had a number of these boards made, and they are ready to ship.
I was going to make additional runs of this in future, but recent events have convinced me not to do so. I was putting in a lot of work to source, buy, build and ship these boards and kits at cost, but I won't be doing so any more. (If you are curious as to why, read my rant thread in Off Topic at https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=114868.0 )
If you're interested in one of the Elmo aek2_usb boards, with full component kits available, run— don't walk— to the thread at https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=114675.msg3083549. Minor update: Thank you so much to a very generous forum member who read the tale of how USPS took a bunch of shipping money from me, and sent me $20 and some very kind words. As I was charging extra for the last three blue PCBs to recoup my losses, I'm applying that $20 towards said losses, so now I don't have to charge as much! :)
Now, instead of $17.08 extra per blue board, I'm only charging $10.41 extra. :) And then I will have recouped my losses from this whole sordid affair. Thank you again to the kind forum user who sent the $20.

Any PCB and Kits left?

I'm interested in the PCB as well, if you have any leftover.

Also interested in a board or two...
