Hey Everyone!🦇
I’m excited to reveal my first keycap set! - MW Fright Night
 
Halloween has always been one of my favourite holidays of the year, so I wanted to create a set surrounding the holiday.
From the pumpkin carving to late-night horror binges- the atmosphere of this period is magical- or you could say frightening.

Another passion of mine is classic horror movies-  one of my favourites is the movie on which the name of this set is based,
Fright Night (I) which embraces the 80s grit that I know my fellow horror enthusiasts love with a comedic twist.
 I believe that this set embraces these two passions of mine and I hope that you can find nostalgia in my vision.

About this set

Legends will look sharp
3-5 month wait time after GB ends
GB is 11th of April- coincidentally the anniversary of Fright Night (I) ;)-
^this is subject to change dependant on any setbacks.

Why did I choose Milkyway?

With longer wait times for manufacturers such as GMK,
which seem to increase every year, the time for change is desperately needed.
Milkway is, in my opinion, is one of the better suppliers at the current time-
with low lead times, affordable pricing and high standards.
Since they are relatively new, I know there will be scepticism on the validity of the claims
but I have heard nothing but appraisal for their previous sets - PBT [02/015] to be specific.
I firmly trust that they can deliver this set to a high grade and if you are still unsure,
please comment and I will do my best to answer any questions or concerns.

Hey there! I am unlikely to be swapping the alt / main alphas. However, I am not completely against the idea and if more people in IC responses also want this- it is not out of the question.

Concerning ''also please add a R3 1u pipe to each alpha to support more than uk iso''- Thank you for bringing this up, the 40s kit will solve this! However, I understand that buying a whole kit for two keycaps isn't the best option so I will look into adding it to each alpha!

Hi good set a few points of feedback

- numpad enter in base kit that's alpha colored is a different legend from the mod color (also, why the alpha colored numpad enter, ig for an accent for those using alt alphas?)
- missing f13 from base
- afaik both R4 |\ and <> are unnecessary, you only need one
- 40s currently has no method to obtain purple accent enters - I advise that you add them or remove 40s accents entirely. imo you supported 40s enough to make a 40s base kit but not enough to offer them full accents? seems strange.
- There are 7 R1 nov keys and only 1 accent option - I advise you make one of those black keys purple to offer more accent options. Iso nov would be cool
- Purple accent kit is missing small bars (that you have in your renders) as well as purple arrow keys (which seem important given that you have a separate accent kit already)
- norde kit contains UK iso keys that are already in base - cut them
- board renders show black mod spacebars that do not exist in kitting.

The GB date is getting closer and closer.. And after a lot of feedback from people on Geekhack and from the Interest Check - I have made the difficult decision to reverse the colours of the Main Colour and Alt Colours. I have also updated kitting that can be found below!

Ontop of this, Addon Kits (previously accent kit) will be avaliable in both Orange and Purple! 40s Kits will be avaliable in both Orange and Purple as well.

Provided that color matching is completed on the first go, Milkway's timeline from purchase to delivery is approximately 6 months or less, correct?

I have contacted MW's staff to confirm this and it should be around 6 months "given that colorsamples are approved & all vendors submit payment in <30 days from end of GB

Production is currently estimated at 3 months from when all vendors submit payments to Milkyway, and depending on your vendor ~35-55 days shipping, all in about 5-6 months depending on your country".

However this on the basis that there is no set backs or delays. Of which there maybe unfortunately that I cannot control e.g. held at customs ect but the hope is it will be delivered in time for Halloween!

Adding another addon kit using the green will be unlikely if I am being honest with you, I have no plans for it however there is a slight chance I might since MW doesn't have MOQ on child kits!

I am refining my Norde kit to become an international + UK iso kit!

After some consideration and reviewing recent IC responses- I have decided to re-add the Alpha space bars and the extra B to the Base Kit. Hoping to add renders of updated kitting by the end of Monday.
