Ever since the introduction of HDR, Tp4 postulated that eventually the studios would put "LESS" effort into their SDR-releases and vanilla SDR fans would get the short end of the stick.
And... here it is, a major studio release afflicted by Lazy. DisneyMarvel Sh-Chi 10rings
Notice the extreme blown out flatness of the SDR sky box/ pavement. That's not a dynamic range problem, it's a lack of effort.

No, it's just sloppy color grading in this case.
The majority of pro cameras before HDR were already HDR.
