Title: ZOMG
Post by: tp4tissue on Sat, 13 November 2021, 15:46:58
Beyond Patties on sale @ Costco,   10 burger patties for $12

It's normally 8 patties for $14

That's 45% Off.....

Probably because Beyond has been having some serious financial trouble, they recently issued a revenue warning.

They already sell their product at a loss to compete for shelf space, I wouldn't expect them to be around much longer without some serious changes.

If it means M0ar  patties,   Tp4's all for more stock dip.

The plant based food growth is unstoppable. The earth demands it, much like Electrification

Specific to BYND, based on Tp4's interpretation of the financials,  Milk/Beef is more likely to "go out of business" than BYND.    The entirety of the market most sensitive to supply chain has slipped this quarter, it's not out of the ordinary.

_NOT_ that tp4 would recommend the stock , competition is fierce in this market, it is the hottest fastest growing sector.

Miyoko's Creamery,  if that went Public,  Tp4 would be very bullish.

I have never found any of the ersatz meat products particularly palatable.

Does TP4 consider Beyond to be the most appetizing brand? What is the optimum cooking method?

Between the 2 most competitive, Impossible Burgr and Beyond meat,  Tp4 prefers Beyond.

It's pre-seasoned to be a bit onion-y and smokey, so you don't have to do wood chips or anything.

Just light brown both sides medium heat for 4 minutes PER side, and it's good to go.

Whether or not it's "like meat" is really secondary to the point that , It tastes good. The texture is pretty good too.

Tp4 buys everything at costco, they even sell pianos.

Beyond is Greasolicious, don't eat too many at once.
