Our concept was to make a true gasket-mounted full aluminium keyboard that would provide excellent flexibility for typing. And it can be customized and adjusted exactly the way you want it to be. So we made it fully support QMK and VIA, making it easy for everyone to program every keystroke. For this we upgraded the chip to a STM and we changed the ribbon cable to a normal cable so its not that easy to break it for people new to this.

*You don't have to use this switch, you can also switch through the layers purely by using VIA, it's just something on top where u can switch between 2 set layers.
As an example:
Switch state 1: VIA layer 1
Switch state 2: VIA layer 3

With ISO support :eyes:
But seriously. Loving that Keychron willingly supports us ISO users, helps make that part of the hobby much more accessible to users who wish to stick with the layout.

this absolutely needs wkl, or at minimum, tsangan support.
-
The addition of force break mod in the stock board is neat - good to see that Keychron is continuing to make changes based on community feedback :)

What about considering to a POM plate?

What about considering to a POM plate?
We decided on FR4/PC based on feedback from the community, but the plate files are also publicly available, so anyone who wants to can make their own plates from other materials.

Welp, count me in! I've been looking like crazy for a Keyboard with similar specs (60%, Gasket Mounted, Alu body, South Facing, Screw In stabs, 150-ish USD and delivers here to Brazil for less than 50 USD Shipping), and with the Q2 just shown around with way better acoustics, this looks like a no-brainer to me!
I would just like that the bezels were a bit more... minimal? They seem kinda big IMHO, but I figure it might be because of the gaskets.
Nonetheless, I am extremely interested on getting my hands on one :) Hopefully it gets to be a In-stock purchase for everyone
