Hello, I've been thinking about buying an ErgoDox EZ keyboard after experiencing pretty bad forearm and wrist pain, but I have a few questions for it.
Here's some of the main questions I have: How easy is it to get it to sound how you want it to? Is it more difficult to modify and tune compared to a normal custom keyboard? I know that you can open it up, but does any sound dampening material fit inside the space? Also, can you change the plate?
Second Question: Do any of you who own or have owned an ErgoDox EZ regret buying it? If so, why?
Thanks in advance

I don't have any answers for sound, but I do think that the Ergodox has way too many thumb keys. I barely use any of them, actually, I think I'd be better with a Dactyl Manuform (or even a 34-key layout).
If I were to get another one though, I would probably consider the Moonlander. Looks a better better in my opinion!
