Title: US layout or Japanese layout for happy hacking?

I am planning to get a happy hacking pro 2, but I don't which layout to get. Which is better for efficiency and comfort?

well it depends, especially for the comfort part.

if you've already got used to US layout, don't use Japanese one, and vice versa.

I found the Japanese model when testing at Akihabara had way too small a spacebar for comfortable use.  The Filco JP model has a wider spacebar.

Personally, I'm waiting for the HHKB3.
