Title: Life or death question I need to ask you right now.

Do you prefer a 145g or 155g spring?  I personally prefer 145...155 is way too stiff for me.

In what kind of life-support machine are you using it?
Does your oxygen level dip too low if you use the 155 g spring?

I use a 100 that bottoms out at 140g for the main board and 150 that bottoms out at 200g for the macro pad.

Stop punching your keyboard and you won't need such insane springs.

I bottom out with less.

Although, I may give 80's or 90's a try soon.

As for the macro pad, the heavy springs are to prevent accidentally pasting and entering important data in fields where it doesn't belong.

How you type can impact how you bottom out, not as much as springs, but how you bottom out is also important.

Typing on rocks isn't any better for your joints due repetitive stress and when you do bottom out because of the force behind your fingers to get there it's only going to be more harsh. I run 39g springs* but because I use so little effort that when I do bottom out I have almost no pressure behind my fingers. Put another way, my bottoming out pressure is less than your activation pressure.

*This soft of a spring is not compatible with all switches.
