So. How are those Blue ALPS feeling after a few hours with them? They seem to RipOmeter the same as White Complicated Clicky ALPS but some people report they feel lighter (although I still haven't figured out why (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:9107)).
Lighter, smoother, softer? I don't know how to really describe it. It's like the tactile click is a lot less noticeable.
I'm really pleased with the change. :)

I think that's mainly the change from XMs to Complicated Clickys. What about your ABS M1 versus the Blue ALPS?
The force is similar. My M1 feels almost linear though. I can definitely feel the bump on the blues more. Maybe it the audio feedback playing tricks on my mind.

blue Alps felt like worn out complicateds... atleast to me..
guess a bit smoother?

I have my DSI ASK-6600 lined up next to my ABS M1 and they feel just about the same and sound just about the same, too, except for a faint 'tick' from the clicky leaf in the DSI keyboard.

my first impression when i typed on the blues was "meh these are just like whites" alot better than whats currently on my Siig so i will swap in time.

When I was swapping out the innards of Complicated ALPS Blacks and Whites, I forgot to place the click leaf into one of the White switches. To my surprise, this White switch was Linear + no click + very light, reminded me of a certain Cherry MX Red. I had expected it to be tactile but it wasn't, not know why because I did not dwell on this predicament.

I remember seeing a few youtube videos on this, perhaps by someone on geekhack. Probably can find them by searching for "force reduced alps".

I had it saved as a favorite.
