Hi!
Here's an interest check on a meetup in Italy.
It's going to be hosted in a friendly, international and "multidisciplinary" environment, so everyone is more than welcome to join.
I'm not sure how big the community in Italy is and I figured this might be a good way to check.
I might be also interested in having an helping hand moderating the event so feel free to reach out in DM to talk about it.
Last but not least, if you're part of an Italy- or Europe-based keyboards community, and you have any interest in organizing some related activities, please shoot me a DM!

hello, the Italian keyboard community of reference is clickclackclub, the first meeting was organized in 2019 and as soon as the covid restrictions are relaxed there will be the possibility to safely schedule the next meetup.

Not really, as of now. Interest is not at the highest level but since this new community came up let's see how it evolves.

Can we join forces?
Can we agree on buying a GMK set and have NORDEUK+IT keycap set?
I mean... the italian layout would probably add 5 keys.
5 keys = 3 eur
Let's say that the we purchase the MOQ, and we pay for 5 set for each italian, that would just sum up to 15 eur each. Let's call it a tax :-D
Would anyone agree to that?
GMK already has the italian molds, they have been used for cherry and for olivetti.
