As the title says I am turning 18 in a couple of months and I want to have a major renovation to my room.
I don’t even know why I have this framed seraph in my room anymore, it was when I was a kid and has always been there.
This is the space that I am around the most and so I want to make it the most
Comfortable for myself. However the limited space in my room
Makes me just want to remove the angel poster and that’s it.
Any advice?

Goddamn I wish I had a time machine for the room colour. Want to paint it to something more white or gray

I was going to say I like the colour, the lamp tying the walls and furniture together looks like it was planned. Agree on removing the scary seraph pic but proper white is too much on walls and grey/beige (beige being any paint that's supposedly a really pale colour but at a glance you'd think it was dirty white) is depressing, for me you have to have a proper colour in a bedroom. Mine was best when it was bright orange walls with lime green gloss but that's probably not for everyone!

Really at a loss of what colour to pick

Yellow is good, it is bright and cheerful but (not necessarily) too intense. There is a huge range in the "yellow" palette.
It is good for the decor to be inspiring - maybe some abstract-ish art that lifts your spirits when you look at it. You don't need to look at representative things like posters 10000 times.

-Band posters (Whoever you like but extra style points for Pink Floyd and classic punk show flyers.)
-Classic movie posters (Old godzillas, Fight Club, Dawn of the dead, etc.)
-If you're going for a more nerdy vibe then try some indie game posters and classic anime posters (Akira, Lethal League, etc.)
-Interesting art. Find some local artists or paint something yourself. I have a cool ass spray painting hung on my wall.
-Stringed instruments (Bass/guitar)
-Flags and banners
-Cork boards if you have things to stick
-White boards
I'd try to avoid anything too childish, but then again it's your life, do what you want.
