Title: Keychron Q2 vs Ducky One 3 vs Razer Huntsman V2 (TKL) - could use some help.

Hi folks,

I’m looking for a TKL/mini keyboard for typing and some gaming. I very much don’t like ping and I’ve been enjoying a Durgod Taurus that I lubed with a syringe and put foam in, and now I’m looking for the next upgrade.

I’ve narrowed it down to these three keyboards (Razer V2, Ducky One 3, Keychain Q2) due to availability in my area. I would probably have opted for the Razer (I’m not fanboy but it seems to hit the right marks) but the stabilisers on all keys are making me really afraid to invest in it. I’m quite picky with noises and prefer a thocky profile. I also appreciate less wobble on keys.

Can I fix the razer v2 stabilizers with ample grease or should I just opt for the more tried and true Ducky One 3? Or is the different mounting of the Q2 worth it? Could you give me your opinion on what you think is the better compromise, and if I missed another option?

Many thanks for your time!

Keychron is better because it uses open source firmware on most of its keyboards. That and hotswap make your choice very easy.

Please consider also gmmk keyboards.

i would steer clear gmmk and glorious as a whole with their history (Cloning keycaps and some other scummy stuff) but out of these 3 choices the Q2 is by far the best choice.

Also I kinda want to laugh at razer with how being able to swap out keycaps was such a huge deal as if people hadn't been doing it for ages
