I have been lurking for 6 months  and this forum has always been helpful to a newb like me
Just wondering is there a possibility of changing the small backspace on an ALPS keyboard to a larger one without messing with PCB or the key cap or the steel plate inside the keyboard a.k.a. soldering/sawing.
If someone can show me a picture of an inverted large backspace key cap for the ALPS switches, I will really appreciate it =) Thanks in advance:smile:

I don't think it's very easy to do the backspace mod on an ALPS keyboard. First off, ALPS keyboards come in a much wider variety than IBM's buckling springs. One thing I can tell you though is doing the backspace mod will involve at least moving one key switch (it'll involve soldering) and finding new key caps for that area of the keyboard.

just wondering are there any ALPS backspace key caps with an off-centered stem, I can sacrifice the "\" key since I dont really use them. (trying to make something like the US version steelseries 6GV2)
