I do not see why not, this is the second time I've seen you question screwlessness even when the screws are not visible from above, what is the downside of it?

Who doesn't like to screw?

Main downside aside from the fact that instead of never seeing the screws you get to always enjoy seeing them, is the fact that it, as far as I know, is almost always more expensive to machine, for something that ultimately doesn't matter, because you never see the screws at that bottom of your board anyway.

I see what you mean. However, it would be different this case. The top screw is hidden by the magnetic front panels, so you would not see any screw holes from the top down and bottom up

I think this is my favorite looking interchangeable blocker board thus far  :thumb:. I'm curious how this compares to the isabell yg have coming, esp considering they are in a similar price range iirc.

Sure it's not possible bc of the cost associated with it, but man a frosted polycarb front panel option combo'd with the white aluminum frame would be sick.

Very interesting design. And that potential price projection is very promising too.

Hoping it's possible to just buy an extra mid piece so that I can swap up the color on mine. I'm getting tired of ewhite

This is actually a really intelligent implementation of screwless design. Cheers! Board looks cool.

In this instance, it probably isn't that much more expensive to machine. The screws are hidden by a thin piece of aluminum, not a giant backweight. The added cost is probably insignificant.

And you can also make that same argument with pretty much any other back design. Why do boards like the KC no. 2/Kei/Unikorn/Jane etc. all have back decorations if you never see them anyways? Tiny aesthetic details matter sometimes, especially when a lot of this hobby is just taking pictures of the stuff you bought.

iirc the groupbuy in China was case + plate only, no PCB.

There was an issue with the top case being loose and jiggle in the China groupbuy. Has this issue been addressed in the global GB?
